Client: www.christiebreedlove.com
Business: Politics
Profile:
Christie Breedlove is a contender for the Oklahoma House of Representatives and is standing for Tulsa district 72.
Notes:
Christie needed a website that she could update herself as the campaign gathers pace through 2007 and into 2008. As always, W3C standards, usability and accessibility were given high priority. Incorporating her own branding, the site features a heavy use of patriotic colors and images. It still manages to look elegant by not using to many “flashy” images or styles.
Client: www.loricain.com
Business: Real Estate
Profile:
Lori Cain is a real estate agent based in Tulsa, Oklahoma and serves the Greater Tulsa Area.
A fresh new look was required for loricain.com.
Notes:
Coming from tabled layout design, a W3C standards-based design using great colors and an easy-to-read layout was used, ensuring the style and “community spirit” of her old site wasn't lost.
Passionate in her trade and a real zest for life, I tried to reflect those qualities in the design, making it fresh and zesty.
Client: www.huizeroel.com
Business: Private Residential Care
Profile:
Huize Roel is a large, Victorian era Residential Home located in The Hague, The Netherlands. They cater for people that are looking for, and can afford the best possible standard of living. Having taken care of Dutch Royalty, Aristocrats and senior military figures, they are at the forefront of luxury retirement.
Notes:
They required a bespoke website, featuring a classical look combined with modern styling. Imagery was to be of a high-standard. Unfortunately, due to the company having trouble with another web designer, this Website is on hold.
Client: DEMO SITE
Business: Technology
Profile:
Project Alpha was originally a design for a New Media & Technology Journal, which unfortunately never made it to published status.
Notes:
Being a Technology Journal, this design was always going to be a clean looking style with some flashy elements.
Looking back, there are certain features I could now make a lot better, but unless someone buys the design I don't have the time to fix it up. It still showcases my ability for W3C standards CSS & XHTML.

Profile:
Designing for yourself is the hardest thing to do, without doubt. This one nearly made the cut and came closest out of 4 different re-designs I made. I actually really like the colors and brought the orange forward into the current design. I love the Oklahoma sky and this inspires a lot of my designs, this one is no exception.
Notes:
This design features a pretty funky CSS-based menu design, which pops open to display more content. I could have used JavaScript, but wanted a challenge!

Another one for my company, this was a fast-ball that needed to be up and running in under 48 hours as I had a whole bunch of people coming to see my site with nothing there to see. It's mainly here to show that I can still make half-decent sites under pressure of a tight deadline.
Notes:
By now, you'll notice that all my sites comply with W3C standards and have custom graphics that amplify adesigns features rather than dominate them.
